This plant is also called the Silver Aspidogyne because of the beautiful silvery appearance over the leaves. Originally, this plant is found in Venezuela, Southeast Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. It remains a fairly compact plant that has an upright growth. The Aspidogyne argentea can bloom several times a year. The plant has an upright flower branch that can grow up to 25 cm long. Many, very small flowers arrive here.

Aspidogyne argentea can look great in the living room, but is also suitable for a terrarium. They like an ambient temperature of 16.5 to about 25 degrees. They like some daylight but can tolerate the shade. Avoid bright sunlight.

We use spaghnum as a substrate for this plant.
