At Claessen Orchids, it’s possible to order without creating an account. If you go to your shopping bag and choose proceed to checkout, you can choose to order without an account. To make use of our services to the fullest, we recommend to choose the option of creating an account.

We recommend to create an account during the process of ordering. With this account, you can make use of our services to the fullest. The advantages of having an account are a faster paying process, the option to check up on the status of your order and the possibility to view previous orders. Besides that you get the option of signing up for our newsletter that is sent every quarter of a year.

We maintain a minimum purchase amount of €19.95 (excluding shipping costs) per order. We are forced to do this because of the high handling costs per package. We pack each plant as carefully as possible to increase the chance that it arrives in good condition

Immediately after placing the order, you will receive a confirmation of your order by e-mail. This confirmation is also an invoice. In case you have not received the e-mail, we recommend you to check your SPAM-box before contacting us.

You will receive the invoice of your order by e-mail right away. In this e-mail you will also find your order number. We recommend to keep the order number in mind when corresponding with us. On this invoice you will find the possible VAT amount. Because of environmental considerations you will not receive the invoice shipped with your order.

All the prices listed on the website are including VAT. Claessen orchids offers products with different VAT costs (6% or 21%)

While ordering you can cash in your discount code and/or gift voucher. It’s also possible to use a gift voucher in the physical store.

We send orders out for delivery every Monday. This means your order will be shipped on Monday, as long as the payment is completed before Sunday 23:59. Note that your order will be sent the monday after you have placed and payed for your order.

All orders will be taken care of with excessive care. Each order will be viewed and packed in the way that’s best for the order. We keep things such as temperature, size of the plant, shape and other features in mind. Orders are sent in a firm, stuffed box at Claessen Orchids.

As soon as your package has arrived at the postal service, you will automatically receive an e-mail with a Track&Trace link. With this link you can track your order. Note that after you receive this e-mail, it can take up to a couple hours for the link to work.

We try to give you a clear image of the plant you will receive by pictures. It may occur that this is not possible. In this case, you will find “Warning! This photo is an example. underneath the picture. A sample picture gives a good image of the plant you will receive when nurtured well. The plant on the sample is not the plant that will be delivered. This is an example, so variations are possible. The plant on the final delivery may differ in for instance size, number of flower branches, etc. Take a look at the specifications for more information about the plant you will get at delivery.

We do our very best to satisfy you as a customer to the fullest. Unfortunately it may occur that you are not completely satisfied. If that’s the case, we would like to hear about this as soon as possible, but at least within 5 days, after you have received your order. You can send the complaint to us by e-mail, letter or by the contact form. We kindly request you to describe the complaint as clear and detailled as possible. To stimulate a fast handling we would like to ask you to add the order number and pictures.

In a few cases it’s possible to return your order back to us after you have received your order. In case you want to return your order, or a part of it, you must contact us first by e-mail. In this e-mail you clearly describe which plants/products you would like to return and describe the reason of this. When the reason is approved, the return will be accepted. You will receive an e-mail containing more information about the packaging and financial handling. Requesting a return can be done by the contact form.

All plants offered by are excluded from the right of withdrawal. Plants are easy to decay (deteriorate in quality). However, we will handle every complaint and solve this reasonably!
