How can I order orchids or houseplants as a wholesaler?
On our webshop, we have a new feature that allows wholesalers within the EU to order through an account. The discounts are immediately visible when you are logged in as a wholesale customer.
You only need to follow a few simple steps:

Create an account on our webshop and fill in the details.
Step 2
Send us an email with the email address of your account and your VAT number. We will verify it and send you a confirmation.

Step 3
You can now see the wholesale prices on the webshop!
What if I am a wholesaler outside the EU?
Outside the EU you can unfortunately not order directly from the webshop, because the prices can be different per shipping time and size of the order. The processing time of such an order may also be different. Within the EU we do not need a CITES or Phytosanitary Certificate to ship plants. Outside the EU we do, so the transport costs can be different. Therefore it is best to contact customer service for the possibilities, conditions and quotation. Do I get a quantity discount if I buy many of the same plants or orchids?
It is not (yet) possible to get quantity discounts through a wholesale account. This is because this has to do with several factors. So it is only possible to get such discounts by contacting us by mail: customercare@claessenorchids.com
So if you would like to buy tropical plants or orchids by species in bulk, we recommend contacting us through our customer service.
I already had a wholesale account on the shop, but it is no longer accessible, how is that possible?
Wholesale accounts created before February 2024 have unfortunately expired. We are doing as much as possible to provide everyone with their accounts again. But because we now have a different webshop platform, the passwords will have changed as well. So do you not have access to wholesale prices yet? If so, it is best to request information via customer service. We will gladly activate the discounts again for you on the webshop.
What kind of plants can I purchase here for my business?
Our expertise lies particularly in rare high-end houseplants and special orchids. These plants are scarce around the world, so we are usually at the forefront of current plant trends. Some examples include rare deer horns (Platycerium), Variegata plants, special orchids, Hoyas and other extremely scarce tropical houseplants.
So we focus on the real hobbyists and collectors, who are looking for plants that you can't get anywhere else (yet).
