The Diploprora is a Southeast Asian orchid with small flowers. The flowers are often small and predominantly white in color. The Diploprora truncata has a striking lip of bright purple and bright yellow, creating a nice playful contrast. Most species are epiphytic. They often grow compactly and in small clusters. The most popular species within the genus is Diploprora championii. Many orchids from this genus are used for decoration in a terrarium placed by their compact size. There the humidity is nice and high and the temperature can be kept more stable.
