The Sophrocattleya is a hybrid orchid genus which originated from a cross between a Sophronitis and a Cattleya. The species are known for the expressive and striking colors of the flowers. Popular varieties include Sophrocattleya Chester, Sophrocattleya Beaufort and Sophrocattleya Cherry Bee 'Happy Child'.
