It is almost the spookiest holiday of the year again: Halloween. In the run-up to this terrifying holiday, fun and exciting decorations are mostly pulled out of the closet. But of course, a simple pumpkin with a face is not unique. In fact, there are even houseplants and orchids that can easily fit into your interior to complete your Halloween decoration. Add some extra dark magic to your own space with these special plants from our list!

Ghost

There are a lot of different special and unusual plants that have "Ghost" as their name in the title due to their unique and unusual appearance. There is the rare Dendrophylax lindenii "The Ghost Orchid" and the Hoya nicholsoniae New Guinea Ghost, but also, for example, the more familiar Philodendron "Florida Ghost". The name describes the white or lighter coloured characteristics of these special tropishe plants.

(Black) Magic

What is really unique in nature, and what many plant lovers are looking for, is the black orchid. There are many orchids that approach this colour and therefore name this trait in the plant name. Carnivorous

The Nepenthes is an example of a spooky plant. This plant has calyxes with which it devours small insects. Besides its scary appearance, this plant can also catch flies! Carnivorous plants naturally feature in one of the most classic horror films. So why wouldn't you want to decorate your home with them?
