Ceratostylis orchids are compact in size and grow in the tropics of Southeast Asia. They are smallepiphytic orchids, which grow in moist, shady environments. Many species grow especially in India in the Himalayan mountains. One of the most sought-after and popular species is Ceratostylis rubra due to the striking orange color of the flower. These orchids are a nice addition to a tropical terrarium or paludarium.
