Dischidia

The Dischidia is a popular tropical houseplant with cute, fleshy leaves. The plant genus is from the periwinkle family. They are endemic to Southeast Asia and are frequently hung as hanging plants for decoration in the house. The plants are relatively easy in caremaking it a suitable beginner plant. Some of the most popular species, which we also sometimes have in our assortment are for example the Dischidia nummularia, Dischidia ovata, Dischidia ioantha and the Dischidia platyphylla (Ant Plant). The cute little flowers that the species get is one of the aesthetic features people appreciate about this plant. Other examples of plants that can also serve as hanging plants include the Hoya, Rhapidophora, Epipremnum and the Scindapsus.
