The Liparis is a orchid genus which includes more than 300 species. They are found worldwide in tropical to temperate regions and are usually epiphytic or terrestrial. The species can vary greatly in size and shape. Yet they usually have small, inconspicuous flowers. Popular species include the Liparis loeselii and the Liparis latifolia.
